applications for hiring room in Reception House _

and, on motion by Mr J. T. Bradlee,

It was Voted that the applications for hiring privilege in Reception house for a Refreshment room be referred to the Comee on said building: _

and that the application of Mr Harrington for use of the premises for exhibition of marble &c be placed on file.

Fence on W. side of Reception House to be in part removed _

On Motion of Mr N. J. Bradlee,

Voted that the Supt under the direction of the Comee on the Reception building be directed to remove the high fence between the grounds of Mc- Donald and the new building just erected by the Corporation, as far back as the rear line of the new building, and to substitute therefor a slat fence not over four feet high.

Finance Com. authorized to settle accounts of Present Treasr; and to transfer property, books, papers &c to new Treas'r & Sec.y _

On motion of Mr Turner,

Voted that the Finance Committee be authorized to settle the accounts of the present Treasurer and Secretary, and receive from him a transfer of the books, papers and property of the Corporation, and deliver the same to his successors in office upon receiving from them the proper receipts and vouchers, and from the Treasurer elect a satisfactory bond in the sum of ten thousand dollars: _

and further that said Committee be authorized to purchase any furniture or other property which may be needful for the office. _

Open fence on line of J. C. Gray's land to be arranged for

Voted to authorize the Comee on the Reception House to arrange with Mr John C. Gray, for an open partition fence between his premises and the lot on which the Reception building stands. _

Supt. may employ temporary clerk _

On motion of Mr J. T. Bradlee,

Voted that the Supt be authorized to employ for such length of time as the Comee on change of Supt may deem necessary, a temporary clerk, who shall also act as draughtsman. _

Subject of completion of Receiving Tomb refd to Com. on Grounds.

On motion by Mr Turner, _

Voted that there be referred to the Committee on Grounds the the question what action shall be taken relating to the completion of the Receiving Tomb, and^that they report thereon to the Board of Trustees. _

Lots out of Repair _

On motion of Mr J. T. Bradlee,

Voted that the Supt be requested to report to the Trustees forthwith a list of all lots out of repair in accordance with the 29th article of the By-Laws.

Time of Regular Meetings. 2d Wednes.y in month 3½ P.m.

On motion of Mr J. T. Bradlee

Voted that the regular meetings of the Trustees be held on the second Wednesday of each month, at half past three o'clock P.m.

Vote abt. Special meetings reconsidd-

On motion by Mr Livermore,

Voted that the vote by which all special meetings are to be called only at half past three P.m. be reconsidered. _

Contracts for Perp. Repair of Lots 645 and 530 _

The Secretary stated that the Committee on Lots had contracted with Nathl Fisher, proprietor of lot numbered 645 for the perpetual care of said lot for three hundred and twenty five dollars. _ ($325.)

and, respecting lot numbered 530,

with the Execrs & heirs of Sarah Lee, decd for the perpetual care of said lot for five hundred dollars ($500).

Voted that said contracts be severally ratified. _

application of S. J. Locke to have grade of her lot raised _

An application from Mrs Sarah J. Locke, representative of lot numbered 280, on Orange Path, that the Corporation would raise the grade of her lot to make the same conform to that of neighboring lots, on the ground that the Corporation had changed the grade since the purchase of said lot _ was read, and referred to the Committee on Grounds to report what action should be taken thereon. _

Application of Mr G. Brewer for leave to ride into Cem.y on horseback _

An application from Mr Gardner Brewer, requesting permission to ride into the Cemetery on horseback was read. _ and it was

Voted that the Secretary be instructed to notify Mr Brewer of the existing by law respecting admission on horseback _

Revision of By law on Admis-sion on horseback refd to Com. on By laws _

and that the subject of revision of said by-law be referred to the committee on revision of by-laws.
