Mr. Wolcott having been appointed to collect,
sort & count the Ballots for Officers for the ensuing
year announced that the whole No. of ballots for

Election of President,
President was 8

all of which were for I. M. Spelman
& he was declared elected.

Treasurer,
whole No for Treasurer 9

all of which were for H. B. Mackintosh
& he was declared elected.

Secretary,
whole No. for Secretary 9

all of which were for J. Harris Reed
& he was declared elected.

& Superintendent
whole No. of Superintendent 9

all of which were for J. W. Lovering

Salary Treas. Secty. & Supt.
On motion it was,

Voted: That the Salary of the Treasurer be
fixed at $2.250, and the Salary of the Secretary
at $1.600 for the ensuing year.

Voted. That the Salary of Superintendent
be fixed at $3.000 for the ensuing year and that
he shall have the use of a house & the grounds
thereto belonging, the use of a horse and vehicle
& the services of one man at the expense of the Corporation

the same as last year [see Page 246 of this Volume]
except that Mr. Sears was placed last in Com. on Grounds^in place of Mr Lawrence resigned.
