Report of Investments The Committee on Finance having presented a Report of investments made on account of the Repair Fund since , the date of the last meeting, it was

The following matters were referred to the Committee on Lots:

Lot No. 225 Petition of Elizabeth F. Falls A further communication 439 from Marie Falls asking for certain rights of interment for Elizabeth F. Falls and her heirs in one-half of Lot no. 225, owned by her and

Lot No. 4990 Sale of to Corporation A communication 454 from E. [H?]. Paine in regard to Lot No. 4990, owned by Messrs. Carter, Rice & Co., having been taken by them in payment of a debt, and which they desire to sell to the Corporation.

Spruce Ave Drainage of A communication 455 from Francis H. Appleton in regrad to standing water in Spruce Avenue at the end of Acacia Path in was read, and it was voted that the Superintendent be directed to investigate the matter, and report to the Board the best method of drainage that portion of Spruce Avenue, so as to remove any ground of complaint in the future.

Alex A. Barker Gratuity The Superintendent having stated to the Board that Alexander A. Barker after more than sixty years service in the employ of the corporation, had become incapacitated

by illness from further service, it was voted that he be discharged from the employ of the Corporation and that the sum of Three Hundred and Sixty ($360) dollars be paid to him as a gratuity, that being the amount of wages paid him for nine months of the year, which has been the limit of his recent employment.

Purchase of Land Voted that the matter of the purchase of additional land for the purposes of the Corporation be referred to the President and Mr. Watson as a Committee to investigate the same, and report to the Board at a future meeting.

Maps of Cemetery Voted that the President be empowered to cause two suitable maps of the Cemetery to be prepared, one to be hung in the office at the Cemetery, and the other in the Trustee's room in the Boston office, and also to take such further action in regard to the preparation of other Maps of the Cemetery as he may deem advisable.

Current Bills to be paid Voted, that as it is unlikely that a quorum will be present at meetings of the Board before , the Treasurer be authorized to pay all current bills in the mean time, upon approval thereof by the President.
