1857 The committee agree to lease the inclosed piece of ground lying west of the Superintendent's house for $30 per year,^{for ten years from Jan 1, 1858}to Mr Anthony Apple, -- he to erect^{a green house &}such buildingsand^{make such}other improvements as he may think necessary, but the corporation to have the right to revoke the lease and reassume the land at any time,^{after 3 months notice}on repaying to him the cost of such^{[building?] &}improvements not exceeding $1200 in all.
