Dear Sir

Your favor of the 9^th inst rec^d
In 1872 you only ordered Care & no plants for
which the charge was ^$5.00, but in 1873 I find
your order calls for care & plants and later in
the season you gave an order to have the
lot top dressed with manure, all of which
has been done.

This I hope will explain satisfactorily the
increase of price over last year
