My dear Sir,

In regard to the Swans tc. at Mt. Auburn will you have the kindiness to give me all estimates (which if you have already, I believe) of their yearly cost. also let me know whether they commit appreciable damage, whether they are generally considered as adding to the beauty of the grounds, the probable cost of a new female swan, +whether at present other geese or ducks are needed in case it is determined to retain the. I see no mention of birds in the report of Greenwood.
