goats sometimes but not as
frequently as in mares & cows

It most frequently happens
in cows which have been pregnant
3 to 7 months
And in mares 3 to 9 months

Symptoms --

discharge is seen followed by
abortion. And again abortion
occurs suddenly without any
premonitory symptoms

Prevention

Animals should not be
introduced from an infected district.
Males that have been serving
infected females should not be
used on others.
