We took our breakfasts
& most of our dinners
at the hotel because
the food was excellant &
there were 4 different [overstrike]
dining rooms. I saw a
caffeteria [sic] thru the Grill.
We found the best food was
in the Grill & so we had
cocktails each nite in a
little Bar off the Grill &
a wonderful dinner in the
Grill. Lunches & 2 dinners
in other rooms were the [illegible]
poor English cooking. In the
Grill we could get chicken,
steak, or chopped grilled
& fresh vegetables. Rather high
but well worth it. After the
heavy food of Germany we
didn't want any [boil?], heavy
