From: Coast Guard Liaison Officer, Naval Section Base, Ocracoke, North Carolina. To: MOORE, Robert G. (513-132). A. S. (R) - PRESENT.

Subject: Orders; transfer.

Reference: (a) Verbal orders, DCGO, 5ND., 4 March, 1943.

1. Upon receipt of these orders you are detached from the CGR-2009. Proceed to Norfolk, Virginia, and report to the District Coast Guard Officer, Fifth Naval District, for further assignment to duty on the CGR-2023 at Little Creek, Va.

2. The travel necessary to the execution of this order may be performed by privately owned conveyance, if so desired.

3. Travel orders will be issued by the Personnel Officer, District Coast Guard Office.

4. The travel necessary to the execution of this order is required by the public interests. Allowances for subsistence and quarters as prescribed by Article 243, Pay and Supply Instructions, are applicable in this case.

5. Departed _____ this date.

MEMORANDUM TO PERSONNEL OFFICE

Subject: BADEN, Thomas L. (519-859) Sea. lc (R)

1. At 1700, 14 November, 1942 subject named man reported aboard the CG-83320 at Morehead Section Base, Morehead, N. C. by order of Coast Guard Liaison Officer, from the CG-83313 for assignment to this unit.

2. This man was absent due to sickness from 0900, 12 January until 1520, 3 February. Also during the month of February he was on annual leave from 1200/17 - 1130/28.

3. This information is forwarded in accordance with telephone conversation with above office on 8 March, 1943.

To: Carpenter Joseph Redman -- Coast Guard Depot, Elizabeth City, North Carolina.

Subject: Orders; transfer; travel.

1. Proceed to the Naval Section Base, Ocracoke, North Carolina, and report to the Coast Guard Liaison Officer, at that place for assignment to duty.

2. The travel necessary to the execution of this ordder is required by the public interests.

3. Mileage is allowed, chargeable against Norfolk District Symbol No. 03-20.
