& heyr to the Sd. Richard Dereham in Case he be dead might be
Summons'd to appear before this Honble. Court & Shew cause if any
he had why he the Sd. Christo. Gale should not have his Title to the
premises confirmed by a decree of this Honble Court &ca. and the Sd. Jos
Dereham appeared & put in his answer thereto thereby confessing &
allowing all the matters & allegations in the Sd. bill contained to be true
& further that he the Sd. Deft. is willing that the Sd. Title & all matters
contained in the Sd. bill may be confirmed & made good to the Sd
Complt. & his heyrs by a Decree in this Honble: Court
Whereupon & upon [crossed out word (the)] reading of the Sd Bill & answer & all other
the Minutes & writings mentioned in the Sd. bill passed from Rd.
Dereham to Jno. Lawson & from him to the Complt: this Day Wee
doe declare adjudge, order & Decree that the Sd. Christo. Gale hath
as full absolute & Just right title & interest unto the Sd. Lands in
the afsd. bill of Complt. mentioned & to every part & percell thereof
as ever the Sd. Richd. Dereham or any claiming under him had or
can have & that the Same doe remaine & continue unto the Sd. Christo.
Gale & to his heyrs for ever wthout the Least mollestation or disturbance
of or from the Sd. Richd. Dereham & the Deft. or any claiming from
by or under them or any or either of them or their or any or either of
their heyrs Exrs. Admrs. or Assignes. Ordered Decreed & entred by
us & our order the above Sd. 15th Day of Aprill 1713.

Mr. Lawson has pd for one Eleven pounds twelve Shillings Sterl.
money wch if my Uncle nor any for him does pay it & I hereby
impower you to make over & convey to him my Land on the We. Side of
the Nuse River containing Six hundred & forty acres wch is in discharge
of the Sd Sume I am indebted to him & this Shall fully impower [crossed out word]
