I have been doing the same old thing
all day. Nothing to write about of interest.
I am suposed to get liberty tomorrow guess
I will wash again. In the afternoon I might
walk up the street and look around. Picture
Cards is the I am looking for now. That's about
all anyone would care about anyway.

My good friend Olsen was transferred a few
miles away. Don't guess I will see him very
often now. I sure do miss him a lot. Bennett
and he we're my best friends and pals.

Still looking for that mail yes I know I will
have several letters when it does come. I always
think of the early settlers when I looked to sea to
see if any ships are coming. I know just how they
felt. I will keep looking for them.

I am feeling fine and everything is dandy. Just
would like to be with my darling little girl. I love
you so much. Last night I heard blue prelude on the
radio. It carried me back to Colerain where you are.
Do you remember it was the song we heard so
much over the radio the week we spent at
