My dearest Thomas,

For the past three days I have not had
time to write you a long letter. I got of a card
each day however just so you could hear from
me. I was working mail and getting a few letters
for myself in the meantime. How thrilling it was
to find a letter for yourself all along.

I got 18 letters from you this week. Boy was
I thrilled to death. I read them in between working so
I have got to read them all again to answer your
questions. I didn't have time to really devour them then
but I will. The letters were written Jan 11, 14, 18, 20, 21,
22, 23, 25, 25 VMAIL, 30, 31, Feb 1, 2, 3, and 4th. Wasn't
this a nice supply of letters. I enjoyed them all and will
enjoy the more when I reread them. I also got a letter
from Henry & Katie, Helen Jenkins, Valentine from Kay. Wasn't
that sweet. A letter from Mama dated Feb.10 the latest one
I have received.

The picture were good. I am so glad you sent them
even if it does make me a [begin underline] little [end underline] home sick. You look
so alive as natural to me. Just like I have seen you
before during snows. I can see you right now walking
around. I wonder if you brake a limb to see if the burden[?]
