I received you box yesterday the one with Mr.
Minton joke in it. How did you get so much in it.
I am going to enjoy it an awful lot. It was packed so
well and wasn't damaged one bit. Last night
Bennett got a low of bread out of the galley
so we are going to have lunch at night now.
I must be feeling mighty noble and romantic trying to put
a K on night. I also got 2 Index, 2 Colliers, 1 American
and the Readers Diget. I can read it for quite a while now.
When we get through with them I will pass them on
for the boys are always asking for magazines.
For the last three nights I have worked until
twelve o'clock. This doesn't happen very often however,
I'm trying to keep my department in ship shape and
it takes a lot of checking with the quantity I have to
handle. I have handled more in the past 5 months
than I have seen in the past twelve years. I enjoy it and
get a thrill out of keeping it all ship shape.
This is a messy letter but I will write you a better
one maybe tomorrow night. I still haven't had the time to read
the big batch of letters over again. I will though.
I am thinking of you and loving you dearly,
Harry
