Well, I glad Conrad has found the girl for
him. I tickled to death but afraid she wont like
a small town. Now find out about that when
you see him and let me know. I think it would
be nice to have them for neighbors when I get
back.

It looks as if the war is helping some people
get married (E.C.) Guess there will be big
doings with Nell and Eugenia getting married. I can
Mrs. Riddick and Mrs Cowper now but they are in a
figget. More marriages and more babies and more
deaths it will seem like a strange town to me
I'm sure.

See you can still play bridge. I will have
to learn all over again. I haven't played a game
since I've been here. Hearts is our big game.

I feel sorry for Francis, poor girl doubt if she
wer get married. If some boy meets her and don't
find out about her heart, that her only chance. It's ba to
have to be like that isn't it. She's such a fine
girl too.
