My dearest Thomas,

Today has been just about the best day
I've had since being in Africa. It's true that we
have had a big days work, but who minds a hard
days work when you can find a nice picture of your
darling little wife while doing it.

Darling I'm so proud of the picture. The other
one was good but it doesn't have the life like likeness
that this one has. I can just see you like you
used to be just before breaking into a smile. I like
your hair the way it is. I thing the frame is beutiful
glad you god the red folder that makes it much
mor real. How could i have the real image of you
with something red about it. When I look at your
picture now all i see is you and that's all I
want to see. I've already had many compliments on
it and of course that tickles me to death. I have
the picture on my stamp cabinet wich sit on one
corner of my desk. Everyone that come in to room
has to see it for theu can't help it. I love to say
yes, thats my wife you can't imagine how proud it makes
