My dearest Thomas,

Received ten letters from you today dating
from Oct. 21st through oct. 30th. They sure have
been hung up some place. They were so far passed
due that i had forgotten I hadn't received them. I
was glad to get them for I learned some news
that I didn't know.

I am having a hard time getting started
on this letter for Vick a Chief sigleman is over
and he really has the floor. The can always talk but
to night he is really wound up. All the boys are
sitting around just listening he is telling some tall
tales and they are not war yarns rather. He is old
navy and can he shoot the breeze.

Sure I'm proud of you but not at all surprised.
You see I know you and what you can do. I think it
was wonderful for the teachers meeting to be held in
your room. I know you felt mighty good about it and
I'm just as proud of you as I can be. Guess all the
