I find in your Oct. 27th letter why you were
asking if I had moved. Well I'm still here and have
never had anything packed to leave. I don't know where
the kid got any such news for I've never heard any
thing like it myself. To start with I haven't even
seen him or any of the other boys [begin crossed out]that[end crossed out] in the office
that I know anything about. Just forget all that for
it was false scuttly-but you find plenty of that among
sailors. If I'm ever moved I let you know about
it as soon as I can so remember that. Sorry you
had to be worried over some rumor that a kid
knew nothing about himself.

I will answer the other letter tomorrow so
I will have something to write about. Will answer
the other tomorrow night.

We had another big bunch of mail today. Besides
the ten letters I received several magazines and papers.
There seems to be no end to the mail guess Christmas
mail will soon be over however. What is it 19 more
shopping days til Christmas. We will have all this
cleaned up by tomorrow.
