I will be looking for the other fruit cake
and I know it will be good. I haven't cut the one
you sent me but we are going in it tonight.
Chief is making coffee now so we will have
fruit cake and coffee later.

Guess the people are glad to see Eugenia and
Nell getting married forward gives them some
place to go. It Looks as if the parties are in full
swing. War don't stop people from getting married
does it?

I was just reading in the New York Daily Mirror
about a girl that was married to a soldier and
a Marine at the same time. By the way this was
a Dec 1 newspaper too. The boys back in the F.P.O.
drops a newspaper in everydays bag to us. We are able
to keep up with pretty late news that way. That is
very nice of them don't you think? We have written
and thanked them for doing this.

Won't it seem funny not to see Mrs. Hofler
and Electra living in the house. You never know
what changes are going to take place do you?
