Yes I had all turkey breast for Thanksgiving dinner.
You see I know all the cooks and when I passed
down the chow line I told the cook serving turkey
that I like white meat. White meat was what
I got. I having been planning on sending you a menu
of the dinner but couldn't think of it. Will enclose
the menu in this letter. I don't reckon so many
people back home at up better dinner than I did.
What are you think? Don't overlook the oyster cocktail.

You love the Navy well if I was in the Army
you would love the navy better than you do now.
Give me the good old Navy any time. I know and I am
so glad that I joined the Navy.

I do like the picture so much. I'm so proud
of it darling it is my most treasured possession here.
Why I can see you every time I look at it and do I
see it so many times each day. Thank you for sending
it. I love you.

I haven't bough a new dress jumper for I really
don't need it. I don't intend to buy anything here except
just what I need. If I needed a new jumper I would
by one. A fellow with a jumper to large is called a boat.
