Midle [MIDDLE] part wore ship to S. East. Latter
part the same. Bloing [BLOWING] heavy. Took in
fore and mizen [MIZZEN] topsail. Lat [LATITUDE] 26 36 175 35

Tuesd [TUESDAY]
June 23rd
First part wind bloing [BLOWING] a gale fronm
the north. Ship laying under spencers
heading to the East. Midle [MIDDLE] part and
latter bloing [BLOWING] very heavy with rain.
At noon took the wind from the
west. Ship stearing N.N. East with
a heavy beat[?] sea in Lat [LATITUDE] 27 10 174 14

First part light winds from the west
with much sea from the N. East.
Ship stearing N.n. East under reaf [REEFED]
