squally weather. Took in light sails.
At sunset saw Clarks Island [ONOTOA ISLAND] baring [BEARING]
S.S. West. Distance 18 miles. Midle [MIDDLE] part
and latter stearing the same. Saw
Roaches Island [TAMANA ISLAND] dist [DISTANCE] 16 miles. Baring [BEARING] east.
