Mr Wiles made the following Report

"Athens O. June 21. 1887
Your Committee appointed to examine the Auditors
and Treasurers Report beg leave to submit the following
report:
We have carefully examined said reports and
find them to be correct. The Treasurers report shows the
following balances subject to draft for the respective
purposes.
University fund proper $1137.74
Bal in State Treas to credit of Trustee fund 183.13
Current Expenses 230.45
For Additional Apparatus 410.67
Library and Reading Room 43.08
Normal Department 4741.82
Perry Wiles
W.P. Johnson
V.C. Lowry
Committee
On motion duly seconded the above
report was dult adopted
Dr Johnson offered the following resolution
"Resolved: That the Executive Committee be authorized
to take steps to have the titles of the College lands preserved
at an expense not exceeding $100.00"
Which resolution on motion duly seconded was adopted.

Dr Johnson moved that E.H. Moore be added as
a member of the Executive Committee for the ensuing year
which motion was duly seconded and adopted.

On motion of Pres. Super the bill of "The Elm Street
Printing Company for 12 diplomas $14.00 was allowed
and the Auditor instructed to remit an order in
payment of the same.

On motion the Subject of the erection of a Gymnasium was
referred to the Executive Committee with power to act.
On motion the following Committee on Legislation was
elected for the ensuing year. John Hancock H.S. Bundy C.S.
Welch L.M. Jewett E.H. Moore and V.C. Lowry

Judge Welch offered the following resolution
"Resolved that
for the purpose of making tuition free, and thus extending
the usefulness of the Ohio University, a sum of ten thousand
