On motion duly seconded the
above resolution was duly adopted.

Dr Johnson moved until otherwise ordered that the
Executive Committee be authorized to settle with the
Auditor and Treasurer at the end of the fiscal year
in November of each year, which being duly
seconded was duly adopted.

Judge Welch moved that the Board now proceed to
the election of officers for the ensuing year

Mr E.H. Moore was nominated and by ballot
unanmiously elected as Treasurer for the ensuing
Year.
L.M. Jewett was nominated and by ballot
unanimously elected as Auditor and Secretary of this
Board for the ensuing year.

Dr Johnson moved that the Auditor and Treasurer
sumbit their bonds for approval to the Executive
Committee within thirty days which motion was
duly seconded and adopted.

Wm A. Root was nominated and by ballot
unanimously elected as Collector of the University
for the ensuing year.

Dr Gordy here gave the Board a full and detailed
statement of his work in the Normal Department.

A vote of thanks was tendered to C.S. Welch for efficient services
rendered the Board while acting as Senator of this district
in the Ohio Legislature.

Judge Welch moved that a vote of thanks be tendered
to Prof. Mees and Prof. Gordy for their clear and explicit
statements of the nature and needs of their respective departments
which motion was duly seconded and unanimously adopted
