45 Brock St. East, Oshawa, Ontario, March 8th, 1944.

Mrs. A. Dickson, Secretary W. A. F. A. , 237 King St. , West, Oshawa.

Dear Mrs. Dickson:-

The sympathetic understanding conveyed in your kind note, of March 1st is deeply appreciated by us - also the recent, gracious call of two of your members - Mrs. Disney and Mrs. Grice.

During these dificult weeks, we never relinquished hope for a moment that our dear, gallant, airman son, Bruce, would eventually return to us safely. It is just such kindness as yours, which helps greatly at this time.

Bruce lived dangerously and passed on to his rest and reward gloriously - superbly "doing the thing he always wanted to do" , and very clearly exemplifying his life's creed - "That one should so live always in order to justify one's existense." How magnificently he did that, at all times and we are intensely proud of him.

Sincerely and gratefully yours, Angus C. and Elizabeth K. Cameron. (Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Cameron.)

Edmonton Mar. 18/44

Dear Ladies, Just a line or two to thank you for the lovely card and grand box of chocolates you so kindly sent me on my recent birthday.

I trust you will pardon my delay in thanking you, but being on course at N.T.S. as I am doesn't leave much time for writing letters.

However, better late than never, so please accept my Thanks for your gift.

I would like to say a few words about the job that you and the other Womens' A.F. Auxiliaries across Canada are doing for the boys overseas. I was repatriated after nearly two years over there, and I know what a grand job you are doing.

There were many, many occasions when we were very grateful to the A.F. Aux. that looked after the Sqdn. I was with for the many comforts we received. So Thank you again for the chocolates and everything you have done for us.

Sincerely Doug. Hagerman
