Dear Mrs. Hall:

Thanks very much for the cigarettes. I don't smoke but the other members of my crew do and they enjoyed them very much. What cigarettes are available are of poor quality and expensive so Canadian smokes are very much appreciated. Thanks again.

Sincerely Tom Hart

Dear Mrs. Hall:

I want to thank you and the members of the Women's Air Force Auxiliary, for the grand Birthday gift you all sent me. It was extremely thoughtful of you and I appreciated it a great deal- especially as it came from home.

We're a long way from home, but we're doing our best and hoping it won't be long before we'll be back leading a normal life again.

Sincerely thanking you again. Yours, Bert Cornwall

Dear Mrs. Hall

The unexpected but delightful birthday card and box of chocolates reached me here, and I am indeed grateful to the members of the Women's Air Force Auxiliary for their kind thoughts on the occasion of my birthday. The W . .) members of my staff helped me sample the chocolates, and we all enjoyed them immensely.

Please accept my sincere thanks for the kindness of the Auxiliary in remebering me at this time.

Sincerely Yours, Andrew Dickson FL/ Lieutenant

Dear Mrs. Hall:

Just a few lines to thank you and the members of the Women's Airforce Auxiliary for the lovely card and box of chocolates I received on my birthday.

I cannot really express my thanks for your thoughtfulness or tell you how much the chocolates were enjoyed by my friends and myself, for in this game we all share our boxes and I must say we cert ainly appreciate them.

I have met many of the boys who have trained at no. 20 in Oshawa and are all very loud in their praise of the good work and kindness of the Auxiliary and are very appreciative of everything done for them, and to most it is like leaving home to leave Oshawa and No. 20

Again thanking you for the lovely gift and wishing you and the members of the auxiliary every success in your good work.

Sincerely Yours, [Dunc]? Foreman
