Dearest Nancy girl,

Your letters have slackened
recently. What's happened to you - you
aren't forgetting your kid sister are you??
I just had a very tireing job tonite - cleaning
out my shelf in back of my bed & destroying
letters. They were accumulating too fast & I
knew I couldnt save them always. I made
a count tho - up to date Mom leads the race.
I've 14 from her, 13 from Mary & 10 from you.
Please let me know how long it takes you to
get this - I'm sending it a new way.
I've written Mom tonite too & given her all
the news on myself. You'll probably see
the letter so I rather hesitate to go into it

visit & how she rushed up & shook my hand

nice day with Helen out at her place
yesterday. They have a dog of a pub out there
which is open for 1 1/2 hr. each day - All the
fellows rush in & have as many as they can
in the short time. They bought a keg of beer
to celebrate my visit and we were going to
take it down on the beach, but the bartender
didnt trust us with the keg. It is lovely
out there. I think I'll take a few days off
next month & go out. Helen has a darling
apt. all to herself. You can swim, fish,
boat ride, go riding, bicycling etc out there.
Dont know just yet whether I'll be sent
out or not. Sure hope so tho. One of the
