September 13, 1852 - September 25, 1852

1852 Sept 13th cleared off & very cool & not
a cloud to be seen to day we are worming
succoring Tobacco Tying up fodder which has
been pulled a week & Cutting Fired Tobacco
in Lot on Branch, one of my sheep Died
Wm Plunket not at meeting yesterday -

14th Sent Fed to Mill this morning 9 Bushels wheat
2½ for fine flour worming & succoring Tobacco
Hanging some Cut yesterday & Pulling fodder
I am going to Settle business for Mrs McCullock

15th worming Toping & Succoring flat in Lot —
Pulling fodder, the morning that they done yesterdayought to have

16. Cutting & Housing new ground Tobacco in the
evening Tying up fodder cleared off very prettyweather

17th worming & succoring new ground & lot Tobacco firing
Fair fine weather, moderate weather,

18. we have cut & Housed about 1700 Hundred Stackscut over all our Tobacco & out
of all got about 1600 Hundred stacks, good
fired with spots & some drowned, - worming fresh
ground. Tyed up fodder last night put up
4 stacks Injured by wet,- pulling fresh ground
fodder to day,- gathering peas etc etc

19. Fine weather, went to Harmony to day to Hear MRush

-20 Housing New ground Tobacco in new Barn.
worming & succoring fresh ground Tobacco, some little
cloudy gathering Peas & Expect to pull fodder
to day the other side of the Branch weather moderate

21st Finished pulling fodder this evening
Stacked 7 Stacks Blade like for Rain —

22nd Housing Tobacco in new ground. Barn or groundfresh
Cutting Tops & firing Tobacco, cutting wood –
cleared off this morning - gathering Peas, etc

23rd Finished pulling Blade fodder &
Tyed some Tops - cutting tops on Branch

24 Began to Cut Tobacco & tying up fodder

25. Rained & cloudy friday & saturday some
Blades on ground have put up 9 stack Blades
all to Stack the other side of Branch
