Tuesday, June 4, 1918

A good day. Ben and Paul and Owen replanted tobacco until dinner then commence to work out the tobacco. Josie washed. I got dinner. Killed the first young chicken to day. We all went to Carries. I went to Reynolds. Kate Harvey come to Carries. Doris [Brumfield] and Christenia Reynolds come here they wanted my suitcase and got it. Hazel is sick hope she may be better by morning.
