HI Mr & Mrs Peters - EB?

Wed 7 March

Dear Mom and Dad,
My diet is going OK. Everymorning I'm doing exercises. The hardest thing to pass up are jellied donuts. I'm doing alright though. I'm prety well-off studies-wise too. I don't know what kind of grades I'll get cuz I've never had papers count as the whole grade. I don't know how they will be received. My history seminar professor - Mr. George Knoles is an old Stanford prof. (66 yrs. old) His wife comes from Palo Alto from way back. Her parents are from Iowa too. Pretty neat, huh? He's retiring this year. He a good teacher, was head of hist. dept. I finals next Mon-Thurs. Then we go! Spain! Great!!

I exchanged $ today - American Express Travelers Cheques from dollars to D-Mark. The rate 1 dollar has gone from 3.18 Mark/Dollar to 2.73 since I've been here and it's going down more probably. And, that birthday party with the german guy name Ewalt (Avalt) was OK. Wendy & her boyfriend Hans were there. Wendy goes back to America tomorrow. She left me a lot of junk that she did want to take back. Not all of its junk. She's real nice. I gave her & Hans a chocolate bar each for a present. Last night we had a Fasching (like Mardi Gras) party. You should have seen me. I was a 'rockin and a 'boppin like never before. I also drank beer. It was much fun. I mainly danced with Brian. I've never danced so much. It was really fun. We were one of ? last hang-overs. I like all the parties were on the Burg. Anne's a social whirl. (about the only girl to have an official date with Ewalt)
