We have had a revival here during the latter
part of the last term, Mr. Badger had a
protracted meeting, the results of which
were glorious, all Heaven rejoiced over it -
about the same time the exercise in our
school were suspend for the most part in
order to give christians an opportunity
of doing good. Each class, or rather the pious
in each class meet two, or three times a day for the
purpose of praying for their impenitent classmates,
and during the remaining, not much
time was lost in conversing in a judicious
manner with the same. And what was the
result do you suppose? Why nearly all of
the school, who had not previous, obtained
hopes in Christ, resolved to be his for time
and for Eternity, and there was much joy -
Mr. Baker I have come to the conclusion of it
be my Auty to preach, that it is my duty to
be a foreign missionary - Two missionaries were
instructed here one week ago last Sabbath
evening - the scene was solemn and impressive
Mr. Johnson & Snyder, with their wives - They
were destined for Asia Miner - I have got
