Mr. Baker

Dear Brother

I recieved your letter some
days ago, containing thirty dollars; and acording
to directions given in the same called to settle
your bill at Swifts, found it to be interest and
all thirty one dollars, and sixty cents. I paid
him twenty nine dollars, which he credited upon
the book, the interest is now due two dollars
sixty five cents, he wished me to write to you
immediately, and request you to pay that also -
There is a small account against you at the
office where I found your 'Spectator' which
Mr. Book-Binder wished me to mention to you
I thought I would not pay any more than principle
till I heard from you again, that is all,
I did not mean by saying 'that school was full
that it could recieve no more, but that the number
was quite large, about one hundred - We have
a Foreign Missionary Society in our academy
the constitution, of which, admis no members,
only those with the above mentioned
