Lord was with us and we knew it not - This is
one great reason we have for thinking the work genuine +
not of mans invention - How carefully do we need to
walk at such a time lest we grieve the Spirit and
He depart from our midst - How solemn is the place
where the Lord is, His presence fills us with awe, yet
we cannot but rejoice - When souls are converted there is sufficient
reason to be joyful, for they are becoming heirs of
Heaven - and their future usefulness will be for the glory
of God and the extention of his kingdom here - How
often those of us who profess to be the Lords should
be at the throne of grace, and there plead in
faith for mercy - How small does the world appear
when we can thus "draw near" - I feel as though I had
been unfaithful and have not done my duty - But
I wish to return from my backsliding and consecrate
myself anew to the service of God, And as there is
this interest here, of course my thoughts often turn
otwards Home with earnest desires that there may be
an interest there - How many of our family do not
love the Lord Jesus Christ, How long must this be? when
shall we all serve him? when shall we give our hearts to
him? Think I beseech you of these things - Now is
the accepted time and the day of salvation -
