I have decided to send this
to day, that you may receive
it by Saturday. I enclose a
letter that just came in, after
tearing off the useless part, as
it was from Stille, I read it.
Two columes of doctrinal tracts
have just been sent you. I enclose
Lavinia's note. They are
not prettily bound, but will be
useful, as presenting doctrines
in a condensed form. I shall
put them in your Library.
They formerly belonged to her
Husband, who was a stanch
Presbyterian. Alice will write
on Mon. as usual. All well, and
send love to our Absentee,
[?],
Thy Mother.
