to Oakland with Mr. Collins & spent the night he has two nice children his wife not yet 23 years. they have a verry plesant pretty home
5th rainy wind S.E. came over to the City plenty of mud. no news from Telegram at 2 P.M. at 5.30 coming down stars I sliped fell on my right side & back nearly nocking the breath out of me had help to get up baithed in afodildock? afterwards in arnisa? & wet a flannel with arenas? & bound on my side it feels Lame?
6th fine plesant weather wind to the Northward. My back and side is verry sore & lame went in afternoon to the Dr. have Cartered the
ship this day to a Direct Pent =L 3.7/.6 am glad this thing is don have got tyard of waiting
