3, CHURCH ROAD,
HIGHGATE, N.6.

Dear Mr. Buchan - I love it - & in the
midst of grey wet, & a general miasma
of ill-health, worry, & anxiety, you
have led me far away to The
Isles of Greece & made me believe
once more in -

"More it is than ease,

Palace & pomp, honours & luxuries,

To have seen White Presences up in the hills,

To have heard the voices of the Eternal Gods."

Possibly, it is quite worth while
being flayed alive if you hear
the Young Apollo sing - of course,
my heart is still very faithful
