Committee, together with such declarations of their intention
to study for the Ministry of the Church in connection with
the Church of Scotland as has been made in similar cases, or
as the Committee may require.

The Secretary was instructed to transmit an Extract
of the above Resolution to the Convener of the Colonial Committee
of the Church of Scotland.

The Senatus met, and was constituted with
prayer by the Principal. Present, Revd. Principal
Machar, Professors Smith, & Williamson. The Minutes of
former Meeting were read, and approved.

The nomination of Candidates for the Scholarships,
or Bursaries, to be awarded to the Students of the
First year who should distinguish themselves most
highly at such Examination, was fixed to take place
