The oldest student association in Canada, the Alma Mater Society (AMS) has been the central student organization at Queen's since its founding in 1858. The Society has had a non-academic court system in place for many years. The item to be described is a volume of minutes from AMS court proceedings in 1925.

Case 11 M. George was charged with "fussing". Pleaded guilty and was sentenced to report at Arts Club room at 4 p.m. on Tues. Oct 26/26.

Case 12 Tom MacBride charged with "fussing". Pleaded not guilty - Case dismissed thro' lack of sufficient evidence.

Case 13 (a) Eli Thompson charged with "fussing" - Pleaded guilty + was sentenced to report at Arts Club Room Tues. Oct. 26/26 at 4 p.m.

(b) Eli Thompson charged with "failure to wear tam" - Pleaded guilty - thereby [strikethrough] pleading [/strikethrough] found guilty of both charges.

Case 14 W. E. Murchison charged with "insolence to seniors" and "no card". Art. Louden testified that the accused was ill + in the K.G.H. Case left over.

Case 15 H. L. McLaughlin charged 1 with not wearing a tam 2 insolence to seniors. Pleaded not guilty of either charge. The court returned the verdict of "not guilty" with Justice Findley justifying the actions of the accused.

Case 16 Dean Wills charged with "fussing". Pleaded not guilty. Evidence given resulted in the court returning the verdict - guilty and Justice Findley rebuked the accused for offering fultile defense. He was
