use of a room was granted them, and to inform
them that if the offence be repeated
the Senate will be under the necessity of
withdrawing from them the privilege of
meeting in the College.

The Senate met and was constituted.

Sederunt Principal Grant, Professors Mowat,
Dupuis, and Ferguson.

The minutes of the last meeting held Dec 7
were read and approved

Owing to the small attendance the Senate
after discussing several matters agreed to take them
up again at a future meeting.

The Senate met and was constituted.

Sederunt Principal Grant, Professors Williamson,
Mowat, Dupuis and Watson and Messrs
Nicholson and Fowler.

[margin]periodicals for 81[/margin]

It was agreed to order for 1881 the same
periodicals for the Library and Reading Room as
last year with the exception of Fraser's magazine
and the Academy.

[margin]$25 to Mackie[/margin]

It was agreed to pay to Mr Mackie medical
student $25 out of the Library fund this
being the amount alleged by him to have been
contained in a money letter lost from the College
Post Office.

The following Committees were appointed
to examine the prize essays.

The Principal & Prof Ferguson, the Macpherson prize
Prof Watson & Mr Fowler, the Maclean
