to an extent not exceeding one-third each by election, or by
co-operation: That the City of Kingston be represented, and that
provision be made for representing the Government of the Province.

With regard, however, to details on these points, and other
matters flowing from them. or incident to the
constitutional changes contemplated, the Convention suggests
that they be discussed at a joint meeting of the Trustees
and the General Assembly's Committee; and that a report
of the conclusions arrived at be further considered at the
Annual meeting of the University Council, to which it is
further suggested, that the Graduates and Benefactors might
be invited."

It was accordingly moved and resolved that the Board, having
heard the explanations of the Chairman respecting the action
taken by the Convention, receives the report with satisfaction
and concurrence: That the Board should be called to meet the
Committee of the General Assembly in Toronto on any convenient
day in the first week of December next to discuss the proposed
changes in the Charter.

met in Knox College, Toronto, 6th Dec, 1900, to consider the
proposed changes in the Charter of the University; and after
full consideration, in joint meeting, the Committee of Assembly
