Sent down two topmasts & all guii & sails. Variously employed. Fresh ESE. Starboard anchor carried away & shifted hove up stuck & bent little anchor. Midnight line carried away. 4 am second line carried away 5 am hove in & put out [illegible text] anchor. Hard gale SE Bar 30-35. At 6 pm Bar 30-30 gradually falling.

2 am Passed Dangerous Reef light. Fresh SE
4 am hove to rear, Sibsey 7 am dropped anchor in 11 fathams on the westside
9.15 am landed & shifted down about 60 Bags guano & change bags about 30 several bags rotten. One hand complained of pain but he had good dinner. Blowing hard gale SSE bar 30-25.
