Page 53PLACES VISITED Date _________________________________________________________________________ trouble for £5 (English price nearer £10); one Zenith Binoculars £5.10s; pair polaroid sunglasses for me 30/-; one light meter 45/-; one tripod for the cine camera £2. We hope everything will prove alright although there is a slight doubt with the telephoto lens. Peter enjoyed the bargaining involved, but I was rather embarrased by the proceedings and left it all to him. On board we found that one of the girls at our table had [found replaced] bought a sari for 30/-, and I suddenly had an urgent need for a sari!
