In the matter of Dowen in the Estate of French Nabors
{Decree recording} Deceased.
{proceedings and} Whereas in pressance of a decree of this Court, rendered in
{confirming return} the premises on the 13^th day of December 1897, the following
{of Commissioners by} writ was addressed and delivered to the Sheriff of this County
{Whom Dower has been} on the 31^st day of Jany, 1898, which writ was in words
{allotted} and figured as follows, to wit:
"The State of Alabama } Probate Court
Shelby County } Special Term Jany 31^st 1898
In the matter of Dower in the Estate of French
Nabors, Deceased.

To the Sheriff of Shelby County:
Whereas, it was decreed by the Probate Court of said County
on the 13^th day of December 1897, that Sarah E. Nabors is
entitled to dower in certain lands belonging to the estate
of French Nabors, deceased, and lying and being in said
County which lands are described as follows, wiz:
The S2 of SE4 and SE4 of SW4 Sec 27 and W2 of NE4 and E2
of SW4 Sec 34, Tp 21, R 3W; also a part of S2 of NW4 and
SW4 Sec 2, and all of Sec 3, E2 of SE4 of Sec 4, pt of NE4
of SE4 and NW1/4 of Sec 21, pt of E1/2 and SW1/4 Sec 20, pt SW1/4
Se1/4 Sec 17, W2 of SW4 and NW4 of SE4 and NW4 Sec 20, pt SW1/4
R 3W also 80 acres in Secs 10 and 11, Tp 24 R 12E, also
pt of Lot No 19, in Montevallo, all in Shelby Co. Ala,
And whereas, is was decreed that the said dower is 1/3
portion of said lands; and, whereas, the said Sarah E.
Nabors minors have all been made parties to this
proceeding and to such decree; You are hereby directed in
pursuance of said decree to summon five feeholders not
connected with the parties by [cons--] or affinity
to allot and set off by metes and bounds the said dower
having regard to the improvements and quality of the
land as well as to the quantity of the dower, and
such other proceedings to have in relation thereto as may
