On my arrival
here on Saturday, I found [yours?] with of
invitation to witness the ceremony of
laying the corner stone of the principle
breeding of the University of the South,
I would [be?] much notified to be pres-
-ent on the occasion, but my circum-
stances will require my presence in
the lower part of the State in the corner
of a short period, I am unfilled of
fresher the pleasure.
