James Moris {sic}, Collinsburg, to Bishop Polk, re: informing him that he had made a sale of the trat of land he promised to appropriate to the Univeristy of the South, asking for some person in Shreveport to draw a deed; stating that the price is $10,000 bearing interest at 6% per year and payable to the University. 1 p.

Dr Sir I have made sale of the tract of land that I promised to appro priate to the University of the South please instruct some person in Shcreveport as to the manner of drawing the deed the price is ten thousand dollars bearing interest at six per ent per annum and payable annually to the University
