James Moris {sic}, Collinsburg, to Bishop Polk, re: informing him that he had made a
sale of the trat of land he promised to appropriate to the Univeristy of the
South, asking for some person in Shreveport to draw a deed; stating that the
price is $10,000 bearing interest at 6% per year and payable to the University. 1
