Resolved, That the Corner Stone
of the principal Building of the
University shall be laid on Wed-
nesday, the 10th day of October
next; provided that the Commit-
tee herewith appointed shall deem
the obstacles now existing suffi-
ciently removed to make it ex-
pedient & proper to do so; & that
the nescessary arrangements be
made for that purpose.

On motion, it was further
Resolved, That Bishops Otey,
Polk & Elliot, Dr. Pise, & [Messrs?].
Bass & Fairbanks be a Com-
mittee to make all nescessary
arrangements for laying the
corner stone _ any three of whom
