On motion it was
Resolved, That Bishops Otey,
Polk & Elliot be appointed a
Committee to superintend the
laying out the Roads & Grounds
of the Domain of the University;
& that they be authorized to
employ for this purpose the ser-
vices of the University Engineer,
& any other assistance, whether
of Engineers or Landscape Gar-
dener they think nescessary;
& that the Commissioners for
raising the Endowmwnt, be
authorized to pay any expense
incurred by in that work.
