I have the honor to forward
herewith an application which
I have received from Assistant
Surveyor Barnett, for leave
of absence from his official
duties for six weeks, in
consequence of ill health,
and urgent private affairs,
and to request that you
will be so good as to
submit the same for the
favorable consideration of
His Excellency The Governor
General.
