The Town Council of the Townof Columbia
met in regular session at 8:15 PM
Present Mayor Reeves Councilman Osgood
Campbell, and Cameron, and Atty McCurley
Minutes of regular meeting held Sept 3d
read and approved.
Mr J G Lawrence arrived soon after Council
came to order, and read the minutes of two
adjourned meeting at which the Clerk was
absent. Said minutes were approved as read.
Clerk's quarterly report read and accepted
Mardhal's quarterly report read and accepted
Treasurer's quarterly report read and referred to
the Finance Committee
Verbal report of City Attorney and Finance
Committee accepted.
Ry Franchise matter informaly discussed
and on motion a date was set upon which
to call a citizens meeting relative to said
franchise, Thrusday evening Oct 6th 1898
On motion meeting meeting adjourned to
Monday evening Oct 10th
