them a check for the amount due, but I protest against paying this extra
item of $8.00 as it is not right, and in support of my statement I would
refer you to my neighbors, Messrs. L.B. Stedman, R.M. Hopkins, R.C.
Stevens and R.R. Spencer, all residing on that street, who will bear me out
in my statements.
Will you kindly do what you can for me in getting this item
eliminated from my account, when I will at once settle my dues in full.
